Akainu Sakazuki est l'un des trois Amiraux de la Marine, sous le commandement de l'Amiral en Chef Sengoku, avant les deux ans de séparation. Après les deux ans, il est devenu l'Amiral en Chef de la Marine. Il a mangé le fruit du démon du Magma (Magu Magu no Mi).
