Shanks est un capitaine pirate et l'un des Quatre Empereurs. Dans sa jeunesse, il fut moussaillon dans l'équipage de Gol D. Roger. Il donna son chapeau à Luffy, chapeau qu'il tenait de Gol D. Roger. Il perdit son bras gauche en sauvant Luffy. Il mit fin à la Grande Guerre.
Shanks is a pirate captain and a Yonko. In his youth, he was a Cabin Boy of Gol D. Roger's crew. He gave his hat to Luffy, which he held of Gol D. Roger. He lost his left arm by saving Luffy. He ended the "War on the Summit of Marineford".
